- Over thirty-five years experience as an association executive. Awarded “Association Executive of the Year” by his peers and “Association of the Year” in national competition.
- Earned Certified Association Executive (CAE) professional designation making him uniquely qualified to lead with the Board of Directors, committees and staff.
- Earned Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation signifying excellence in educational programming, planning and execution of seminars, annual conferences, special events and trade shows.
- Conducts “Striving for Excellence” evaluations reviewing the ten functional areas of non-profit organizations resulting in multi-year operations strategic plans.
- Graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Institute of Organization Management (IOM) – Center for Leadership Development, considered the premiere educational program for chamber of commerce and non profit executives.
- Peer Reviewer for the Standards for Excellence Institute responsible for evaluating organizations for compliance with the Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector.
- Developed American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Certification program and administered an ANSI Accredited Standard Development Organization (SDO) organization.
- Appointed to the Malcolm Baldridge Performance Excellence Program Board of Examiners, the nations only Presidential Award for business and non-profit organizational performance excellence.
- Elected to ANSI Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC) accrediting organizations operating certifications of persons in accordance with ANSI 17024.
- Instruct Governance, Organizational Excellence, and Policy Classes for the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Organization Management (IOM) at the University of Arizona and Loyola Marymount University.
- Contributor to the American Society of Association Executives book Managing Association Turnarounds.
