members to receive benefits of membership without
concerning themselves with the operational aspects
of delivering the benefits. Services in this area
include:
Headquarters Office Services & Identity:
We provide complete and seamless headquarters
identity satisfying legal and operational requirements.
This means that an association does not need to
worry about the expense of leasing office space,
nor maintaining basic office facilities (e.g.,
phone systems, computers, etc.)
European Branch Office Services and Identity:
Through its European headquarters office just
outside of London, L&M provides a turn-key
solution for an extension of operations into Europe.
Telephone Services: A unique telephone
number is assigned to the organization with sufficient
lines to handle volume. A voice mail system informs
callers that they have reached the client organization;
this system operates seven days a week, 24 hours
a day.
Electronic Communications: Professional
systems administration supports a full range of
services:
- Domain Name Service (@client.org)
- e-mail list management & maintenance
- ftp site management & maintenance
- WWW page creation and site management
Publications & Document Distribution:
L&M will manage the production and distribution
of an association's publications and documents,
or manage outside contractors performing these
activities. Materials might include technical
white papers, formal specifications, promotional
materials, association brochures, etc.
Financial Accounts & Records: We
offer cash and asset management services and regular
reporting of these activities to the board of
directors:
- Management of bank accounts and account reconciliation;
- Invoicing and dues collection;
- Bill payment within an established signature
authority specified by the board of directors;
- Production and distribution of financial
reports;
- Tax compliance.
Financial Management & Planning: L&M
assists clients in the collection and evaluation
of investment alternatives for reserve assets.
Planning & Meeting Management Services:
L&M's planners have managed conferences
and meetings for as many as 1,000 participants
in a variety of domestic and international venues.
Services include site selection and contracting,
pre-registration, on-site registration, on-site
logistics, room blocking, audio/visual service
contracting, etc.
Record Keeping: L&M maintains all
corporate records, including membership files;
mailing lists; accounting records; federal, state
and local filings (e.g., NCRPA compliance filings,
tax returns, licenses, etc.); copies of official
meeting minutes; documentation of member votes;
and any other corporate record deemed appropriate
to retain. These records are maintained in the
most useful media (i.e., hard copy, digital form,
or both when appropriate). |
