Alice Tate brings ten years of technology and government marketing communications, and familiarity with diverse technology markets, such as storage, storage networking, LAN, Internet security and supercomputing. Prior to L&M, Tate was founder and principal of marketing communications consultancy Tate Communications, which built upon technology clients' existing marketing programs. These programs included marketing plans, media campaigns, trade show and event planning, telemarketing campaigns, product launches and co-marketing initiatives. Before that, Tate worked at a LAN and storage networking hardware startup, GigaLabs, as its Marketing and PR Manager. Tate was involved there with industry associations including the Gigabit Ethernet Alliance, the SCSI Trade Association, the High Performance Networking Forum, and the Storage Networking Industry Association. Tate has a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester. (joined L&M August, 2001)
